meet our dynamic dog duo
Vivian Dominguez has always had a love of dogs. Right out of high school, when she’d finish her work shift, she’d do what she loved best: spend time with the dogs in her neighborhood. Through this, she saw the needs these dogs had for socialization and engaging play when their owners were away. Over time, this interaction with dogs grew into a budding business.
In 2009, Vivian teamed up with co-founder, Danielle Portillo, to solve the bored pup problem by opening the first bark! bark! location in downtown Long Beach. The business grew quickly, and in 2011, they opened their second location in Signal Hill. bark! bark! has continued to grow and become the go-to place dog owners seek out for safe, fun dog daycare and overnight hotel services.
For Vivian and Danielle, every pup who wiggles through their door becomes a new family member, and their mission is to give dogs a safe, fun place to play, learn, socialize, and get tons of cuddles and affection while their humans are working to provide their pets their best life.
